While most of us get to know the enormous benefits of a morning routine, miracle things can also happen in an evening routine that you can implement some subconscious mind exercises before sleeping. When you drift off to bed, your conscious mind takes a break after a long day of working, but its counterpart still continuously operates.
In fact, it operates non-stop, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Scientists have shown that your unconscious brain is responsible for 95 to 99% of everything you do every single day. Your day is run by your subconscious mind, not by your conscious programming. So, how can you take advantage of your sleep to achieve the things you want? Now, I’m going to be showing you 5 subconscious mind exercises to help you bring things in imagination into reality.
1. Plan your day
Before calling it a day, you should spend a few minutes to set your intention for things you want to play out the next day. Ask yourself: “What time do I get up? What are the most important tasks to do? How do I want my day to be?”
As Tim Ferriss said, if you want to win the day, you have to win the morning, but in reality, to win the morning, you have to win the evening first. So, spend a few moments to look at your day, plan out the biggest things you need to accomplish to help you achieve your goals and dreams. This subconscious mind exercise is not that hard, but it needs your consistency.

2. Review your goals
The subconscious works through repetition. Therefore, if you want to exercise your mind to success, you need to do it over, over, and over again. For instance, remember the first time you learned how to drive a car. You got difficulties, however, then you feel very confident behind the wheel after practicing it over and over. And, the same goes for your goals and dreams.
You can’t set your goals, read them once, and expect them to happen. It’s important to constantly review your goals, either by reading them in your notebook or speaking them out loud, to achieve success. Practicing this strategy before bedtime might be the best way to make dreams come true, as your subconscious is highly active at night. It’s when you can implant the ideas and goals, and make them be things you were born with.
3. Practice gratitude
You take control of your life when you practice gratitude on a daily basis. Bad and good things can happen during a day, and you have 2 ways to react to it: one is to be grateful for difficulties for teaching you lessons and two is to be sad and disappointed with challenges preventing you from success. Everything happens for reasons and you need to have a great awareness of it to take control of life and learning from failures.
You might burst into tears when you found out you were being cheated on by a traveling agency. However, you should be thankful for it rather than meaninglessly cursing the agency as the big lesson you learned is that you need to be more careful next time. Moreover, reflecting on your day and appreciating things before sleeping might help you have a better sleep, and then your subconscious mind would work more effectively.
4. Ask your subconscious mind for the answer
As the great inventor, Thomas Edison said: ” Never go to sleep without a request for your subconscious mind”. Again, he recommends this because as you sleep, your unconscious is wide awake. So, instead of going to bed worrying and thinking about the bills you need to pay or the adverse you might get, or how you will screw up at work, you can totally shift your mind and think about what you need to do to change your life and solve these problems. When you practice this subconscious mind exercise before sleeping, then chances are you will find out the solution after waking up or even in the middle of the night. You don’t have to try to figure out the answer, your subconscious will do that for you.
The subconscious operated out of programs. Hence, if you want to change them, you have to use the language they speak, and it’s done through hypnotherapy. By taking your brain waves down to a childlike super-learning state of Theta brain waves, you are actually changing the tapes that run the program of your unconscious mind.
You can go to formal hypnotherapy for this and see someone that is certified and has helped others. Also, you can find audio online and sleep, listening to what you want to create and make it yours. Again, doing this subconscious mind exercise through repetition will take steps to help you reprogram your mind. Then, 95 to 99% of your day will be operating by your aspirations and dreams.
These subconscious mind exercises are not tricky for you to implement on a daily basis before bedtime. It only takes your consistency. Practicing them every day and you will attain your aspirations. Wish you success and happiness! Check out our app to exploit the full potential of your brain:
