Your affirmation should identify yourself in a positive light and frame you as the kind of person you value. It should also use the feelings you identified in your counter-argument to support yourself and verify why you’re worth your while.
For example, a college student who feels unintelligent may say, “I am an intelligent, capable student who is on their way to graduating.” Someone struggling with depression may write, “I am a loving, caring person who deserves to be happy.”
